Wick Variations

Our wicks are carefully selected to suit each candle size and shape. Because beeswax is a natural product and handcrafted candles can vary slightly, flame size may differ a little from candle to candle. A properly sized wick helps achieve a clean, steady burn.

Moulded Figure & Sculptural Candles

Our decorative figure candles are designed to be both beautiful display pieces and functional candles.

When burning always place sculptural candles on a heat and fire safe dish or tray large enough to catch melted wax.

Due to their unique shapes, these candles may drip or develop a natural uneven burn — this is normal.

Burn away from drafts for best performance.

Trim wick to 6mm before each burn.

Many customers choose to keep figure candles as decorative pieces. If burning for the first time, expect each sculptural candle to burn uniquely.

Please note: Minor imperfections, frosting/bloom, and slight variations are natural characteristics of pure beeswax and handmade moulded candles.

Never leave a burning candle unattended

Never burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire

Always burn candle within site

Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials

Burn on a heat and fire resistant flat surface

Trim wick to 6mm before each lighting

Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings

Decorative/figure candles must be burned on a drip-safe dish

Stop use when only 15mm of wax remains

Keep candle away from drafts & vibrations

Do not burn to long - avoid burning candle for more than 4 hours at a time

Extinguish Safely - ensure the flame is completely out before leaving the room.

Never move a candle while the wax is liquid or while the candle is lit

Never fall asleep while candle is burning
